CAPABILITIES

Centrifugal Castings, Inc. is an employee-owned foundry and machine shop in Temple, Texas. We pour tubular centrifugal castings, heat treat in house, saw-cut, and machine to customer print. Alloys not in stock can be poured to order. Other special alloys are available on request.

Alloy families we pour

• Stainless steel: austenitic (303, 304, 304L, 310, 316, 316L, 317, 317L, 347, 904L, 254SMO, Alloy 20), martensitic (410, 416, 420, 440A, 440C, CA6NM), duplex (2205, 2507, CD4MCuN, Grade 5A), and 17-4PH
• Nickel: Monel (M35-1, M30C, M30H, M25S), Hastelloy (B, C, CX2MW, F), Nitronic 50 and 60, Niresist, Inconel, Incoloy
• Cobalt-base materials (including Cobalt 6)
• Carbon and low-alloy steels (WCB, WCC, LCC, WC6, WC9, 4140, C5, C12) and tool steels

Other special alloys available on request!

Size range

• Outside diameter: 3" to 35"
• Inside diameter: variable from 1-3/4" in 1/16" increments
• Standard lengths: 27" and 73"

In-house process

• Foundry: centrifugal pour, spectrometer chemistry before each heat, mold inventory so customers do not buy patterns
• Heat treat: ovens to 2300 F, maintained and calibrated to ±25 F
• Abrasive disc saw cutting
• Machine shop: turning, boring, milling, and honing
